Here is an elevation proile of the route, although it is calculated starting at Seville, so start from the end at Zamora ending in Saville and you get an idea of elevation changes during that portion of the trip. The section of route not calculated is that from Bilbao, Burgos, Valladolid, Zamora. This portion technically is not part of the Via De La Plata, but has to be traversed in order to get to the closest part of the Roman Route.
