You can see the Morrish influence coming into play
More construction!
More construction around the town!....did´nt like it at all
The order seems a bit muddled, but this castle was just outside Caceres...
Inside...
What the walled town of Caceres looked like, now its sourrounded by horrible industrial estates..
Nice stairs..
This old walled town of Careces was hyped up in the Rough Guide, but I did´nt get it at all. Maybe it had something to do with all the construction. It was if they were rebuilding it!!...
This part was nice though..
Some amazing castle that was open with nobody around so had a peek
´..Ha first puncture!..joy, then the rain came..
A cork tree, stripped bare to reveal amazing deep red core
Featurless plain...this was quite boring cycling through to be honest
Ah...Okay next quiz!...Who can find out what this building is meant to be, and whom is it done by, so I can shot him!..ha, just kidding, not very subtle though
...mmm whats else is there to photograph..Car for anyone?!!
First Palm trees...like I said the order has got a bit muddled, this was outside Caceres
500 MILE MARK!!!!.....Woop!!!
Coming up to an amazing Resivour..with Roman bridge and great hostel

The Camino Hostel...
New friends....
The hard life of a camino!....This hostel was outstanding in design and location..Some guy even did my washing for me...Oh and Pizza and Beer?!!..great after 103km
Dorms..what a great idea, so everytime somebody got out to go to the toilet they did´nt wake everyone up, although the snoring and F$%ting did´nt help
bye-bye folks!!..
Typical breakfast of Bread and amazing Coffe...I havn´t seen a single starbucks the entire time, and starbucks would´nt have a clue as to how to make coffee this good!!..
Agaian the Moorish influence coming in
This September 27th I will cycle across Spain by following an ancient Pilgrimage route starting at Bilbao, before heading south to briefly connect with the El Camino Santiago. I will then head to Salamanca, Merida, Savile, Gibraltar before getting the ferry to Tangiers, Morroco. A total distance of 800 miles in 3 weeks. I've a ways to go in organising this thing, like getting a bike, but its happening. So get a bike and get involved...or just follow me on this blog
