a) Did a tour of Tio Pepe Bodega in Jerez
b) Almost abandoned going to Cadiz, as I soon found out it impossible to cycle onto the penninsula, so resorted to getting a train. Felt great to use a different mode of transport!!...
c) Slept on the beach in Cadiz
d) Have since got the bus to Terrifa to get the ferry over to Tangiers very soon...
The main part of the trip is therefore over, as I am trying to wither sell my bike, or get rid of it somehow and backpack the remainding part through Morroco. I will be sad to see the bike go, as its done so well to get me across spain, however I am also happy to be nearing the end of cycling, as I just dont have the strangth I did at the start due to the food poisening. I am fine, but can no longer do 80km daily...
So what a journey!!...and what an unforgetable, once in a lifetime experience its been. I vow to cycle one country a year for the rest pof my life. Its the ultimate way to see a country!!
